It seems that Evies birthday has lasted a long time and today was the final day we would celebrate. Nana Sue lives an hour away and what with everything else going on in between we have only just managed to get together for a treat day out. Evie was kindly given spending money from Nana and she had her mind on one thing… Shopkins!
We met up at M&S then headed over for lunch before it got too busy. I have never been before but with Sue having been to Lau’s 202 with Ethan and Stuart it came highly recommended as an all you can eat, it had sushi on the menu too which meant Evie was immediately sold!
After a sushi started we then moved on to the Chinese which was delicious and with over 80 varieties of meal there is more than enough to choose from, sorry no pics we were too quick to eat the delicious food!
Evie however was holding out for dessert and certainly filled her plate! She did eat most of it too, which for a kid her size took some doing – we thought we would be getting kicked out at one point it took her so long! lol
After dinner came shopping, I didn’t realise how hard it would be to find a Shopkins storage case in Newcastle so we gave up in the end and she opted for the Make up Stand, 2 blister packs and a little basket that had 2 secret packs inside. She loves watching the Youtube videos of people opening the ‘blind bags’ as its always a surprise to see which ones you get inside.
They are just launching Season 5 too, which considering she just got hooked on Season 4 I can see this being an ongoing thing!
We had a lovely day out and a real girlie treat, spotted lots of goodies in Tiger that we need and spent way too long looking at stickers in Paperchase! Thank you so much Nana Sue it was a lovely day and Evie thoroughly enjoyed herself.
