2013 was the year that my girls fell in love with their first ever Disney Movie, a movie that is still watched at least once a week to this day, is sung about on a regular basis and scenes played out more times than I can remember. Of course the movie in question is Frozen, I don’t think there is a single person alive who has not watched it (and fallen in love with the timeless story of sisterly love).
I love that the girls act out both Anna and Elsas characters, the bond between the two is evident and I can only hope that my girls continue as such throughout their childhood and into young ladies.
When we found out that Frozen would be part of the Disney On Ice Presents Passport to Adventure show we all let out more than a little squeal! Each year I promise to myself that I will take the girls but each year something comes up or they are sold out before I get the chance to buy tickets, thankfully I have never actually mentioned it to them so they are non the wiser and this year will be the same, I am not mentioning it to them, I am keeping it under wraps because…
Seriously I don’t know what is killing me more, the fact I am going to see the girls faces as they see their idols and will totally freak out or that I need to keep it a secret!
Disney On Ice Presents Passport to Adventure is sure to be a show not to miss this year:
“Celebrate the most memorable Disney tales with your favourite characters. Join Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy on a journey to the magical worlds of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Frozen. Explore the Pride Lands with Simba, dive into Ariel’s underwater kingdom, fly to Neverland with Peter Pan and join Anna, Elsa and Olaf on their quest to discover the most magical power of all. Plus, don’t miss the chance to warm up at the Fit to Dance pre-show featuring Zootropolis! Upbeat music and unforgettable moments make this an experience your family will cherish forever!”
Personally I am excited to see The Little Mermaid, Ariel has always been a favourite of mine and I must have seen the movie over 100 times. There is something about all of the songs and the strong willed young lady who longs to be human at any cost. I can’t wait to see how it is translated onto ice!
Tickets are on sale now from the Metro Arena for shows between the 3rd and 8th of October.

I remember going to Disney on ice as a kid with brownies and loved it. Can’t wait to take my little one when she is older. Can’t beat Disney princesses and ice skating x
