Thomas the Tank is a staple name in every household, Thomas and his friends have been around for many years and they are well loved among all little ones.
This colourful interactive tablet helps children learn whilst having fun with Thomas and his friends. The touch sensitive screen is easy to navigate and features 6 activities and games to encourage learning about and recognising letters, numbers, colours, characters and destinations.
Thomas lights up in the bottom corner and says Lets Play with Thomas and Friends in his usual bright and cheery voice. If the tablet isn’t activated he will ask again for you to press a button. All of his friends are lined up and if you press on any of them it announces their names, Thomas’ best friend Percy, then there is James, Emily and Henry.
You can easily turn up the volume with the little whistle symbol which made it really easy for Amelia to navigate herself, usually the volume buttons are so small that we end up with either next to no noise or ear drum deafening!
It really is a basics tablet, the numbers are one to five and the colours are standards that they should know by this age but it also teaches them ‘words beginning with’ and noises that go with destinations ie the zoo, train station etc.
Although it is aimed at children age 3+ I think it would be better for smaller ones due to the simplicity, I just know Milo is going to love it!
