Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and I am linking up with What the Redhead Said again (2 weeks running whoooo!) #onaroll
My two favourite photos from this past week start with this one of Amelia. Friday was sick day in our house, the girls were ill and feeling a little down so we got the huge box of Halloween goodies out and started our spooky prep! My glass pumpkins etc have all been out for a week or so now for autumn but accompanying them is now a huge spider web on the winder (complete with masses of spiders), pumpkin lanterns, poison bottles (pretend!), skulls, plastic rats and of course costumes!
Thankfully last year I bought both the girls dresses in the sale at Asda – £4 each!! Needless to say, dress up had to take place straight away and they have only taken them off for bed since…its going to be a long October!

Another permanent look this time of year is the catalogue and pen pose! I can remember doing this when I was little and its a tradition I still enjoy, the girls each get both an Argos and Smyths catalogue and they go through circling the toys they would like to add to their wishlist. Needless to say there is more pen than picture in the book by Christmas!

XOXO
Debbie

Great photos! I love capturing the beautiful little moments of childhood as well.
Goodness you’ve started early with preparations in your house. #LivingArrows
