With Ethan starting secondary school this year we were worried about how he would cope with the shift in responsibility and commitment to homework and education. He has never been really academic, preferring the hands on approach and discussion more than actually sitting down and concentrating.
We were recently approached by Education Quizzes to trial the programmes which works well with us freaking out over helping Ethan with his homework, we are well educated but everything has changed so much since we were at school. The whole way of learning is so different now and I have to admit to dying a little inside each time a question comes up I don’t know the answer or formula for!

The quizzes are written by qualified teachers and I love the fact that it doesn’t concentrate solely on the main topics of English and Maths (which Ethan already has a good grasp of) but also geography, science and even music!
Knowing that if he is falling behind in a subject we can pick things up at home and concentrate on specific subjects gives me peace of mind that together we can keep on track!
There is even a PARENT 999 section which allows you to access parent power quizes, with titles such as school holiday activities through to bullying and cyber bullying it aims to keep us all ahead of the game too!
Subscriptions are monthly at £9.95 and you can cancel at any time and I will be mentioning it to our schools as there is a special offer for schools that sign up. Also it is good to know that test papers can also be downloaded at an additional cost.
A school can pay on behalf of the students and benefit from greatly reduced costs. Depending on the number of students at a school, it is possible for them to sign-up students for as little as £2.00 per year. – Educational Quizzes
