I think its obvious how much we love sushi so when given the opportunity to try some dishes at the Intu Metrocentre Yo Sushi we jumped at the chance.
Situated in the middle of the newly renovated food court in the yellow quadrant of the Metrocentre, Yo Sushi is one of a kind! With lots of the cold foods displayed and travelling round the conveyor belt it is so easy to just grab what takes your fancy. Hot meals are on the first two pages of the new look ‘menu’ magazine which is designed to be of authentic Hong Kong style.
There are staples on the menu that I simply have to have when ever we visit including the Ebi Fry (Crispy tail-on prawns drizzled with tonkatsu sauce),Teriyaki Chicken (fresh chicken thighs, sliced and diced hot off the grill, glazed in a sweet soy sauce)
I also tried the Yatai – Traditional Street Food. Spicy Pepper Squid (Marinated squid crispy friend and served with red chilli and spring onion) However I dont like chilli but they were more than happy to make it without for me. They will customise each meal to suit your taste which is great and proves everything is made fresh when ordered.

We were sat in a booth which helped with the two little ones ( I love sitting at the belt/bar when I am alone or with adults), they had high chairs situated around the seating area which was great too. Drinks were brought over and explanations were given on how to order and what was good on the menu (believe me we have a list of what we are opting for next time too! We even nabbed a menu to bring home so we can plan it all out!)
I visited with my lovely friend Caroline who opted for the Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu Curry (Crispy chicken covered in mild curry, served with pickles and steamed white rice) and Vegetable Gyoza (Crunchy vegetabe and soya filled dumplings with soy vinegar dipping sauce)
Amelia loves the Kappa Rolls (crunchy cucumber and toasted sesame seed nori roll) and kept asking for more once she finished each dish. 3 plates later she was even trying to eat them with the kiddie chopsticks and succeeding too! Very impressed with our little sushi eater!
The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, there was a little problem the machine printing out the orders which meant two of our meals weren’t made for around 15 minutes (plain rice and fruit salad for the little ones) but by then we were all full so said it was ok and not a problem. However the gentleman serving us said he would add a 2 meal credit to our bill for the inconvenience! That is what I call first class customer service!
Highly recommended and well worth a visit regardless if you are a sushi fan or not – remember its not all raw fish and they cater for all tastes!
XOXO

I love Yo Sushi – the food there is amazing! :))
Lobo Yo Sushi, and reading this has reminded me that I don’t eat there nearly enough! Haven’t tried all of the dishes you mentioned but they all look yummy, so I think I have my next order locked down already! It’s great that they are so kiddie friendly too.
