This week we have all been laid up full of cold and waiting for Covid test results to come back (thankfully negative) As we are all still sick and the girls break up Friday we are staying home from school for the next two days and playing it safe.
We have a list of movies we are working through and I thought it might be good to give a heads up on what is worth watching and what can be skipped….
First up is Back to the Outback. This is a cute movie we will no doubt watch over and over again. A feel good story about captive animals making an escape ‘back to the outback’. There is lots of laugh out loud bits and the kids thought certain bits were hilarious, thankfully they have the same dry sense of humour as I do.

Red Notice. Now normally I am not a fan of Ryan Reynolds, for some reason I just don’t seek out his movies. Same goes for The Rock but after watching this I am a Ryan/Rock fan. The chemistry between the whole cast is great and I loved the twists, nope I didn’t see them coming!

Princess Switch 3. This is becoming a regular thing in our house as the girls loved 1 and 2 in past years. It’s easy watching while wrapping pressies and you know exactly how things are going to turn out. Still, a good watch with tweens and you know there’s going to be no bits (swear words, sex etc) to avoid.

Bad Boys For Life. If you are a fan of the other BB movies then you will love this one. More laughs, innuendo, guns and high speed chases. The usual fun with Mike and Marcus. These movies were a staple part of my starting to love Will Smith so personally I could watch him in anything! lol

The Unforgiveable. Sandra Bullock stars as a cop killer who can’t escape her past. Looking to find her sister she encounters issues at each turn. Well worth a watch and I thoroughly enjoyed it. SB seems to be able to pull off any role she plays and she did a great job in this movie!

As usual there are the standards of the season… The Holiday, Die Hard, Christmas Chronicles etc. We seem to have a batch that we watch every year but its nice now and again to add a couple of new ones into the mix!
What’s been your favourite so far this year?
