If you have followed my blog for a while now you will know that I am a complete storage fiend! Give me boxes or baskets or jars and I am in heaven!
When I was sent the newsletter from Dibor featuring their new ranges of delicious items I just knew that a couple of the storage ideas would work really well in my home office/alter area. Yes you should also know by now then from reading my blog that I am a practicing witch!
Witchcraft is not about hexing people and dancing naked in the moonlight – those bits are optional and completely at your own discretion 😉 However I do love the whole oils, herbs and medicinal practicing side of it, hence the million jars in my apothecary. I did of course need more storage for some of the larger bags of herbs and flowers alongside somewhere to keep my scrolls and paperwork associated with the craft.

Dibor is a French Home Accessory store which was established in the heart of Harrogate but recently relaunched in West Yorkshire. Dibor is ideal for those who appreciate the finer things in life, with an unusual, luxurious range of hand painted furniture, a stylish lighting collection and our popular range of glassware and tableware, many items of which are used by celebrity chefs and gourmets from across the world. Inspired by the best in Country and French traditions, classical aesthetics and a simpler time, and hand crafted with the finest materials, our bespoke furniture and accessories create an elegant atmosphere of irresistible comfort, gracious hospitality and impeccable taste.
Having chose then White Wire Trug I thought this would be perfect for carrying large amounts of herbs etc down to the kitchen from my alter and also for gathering fresh ingredients from the garden too. Who doesn’t love a good fresh flower haul! The basket is fabulously decorative and looks great on my desk, very sturdy with a wooden handle makes it easy and comfortable to carry. There really is something special about having a dedicated container to place all of the ingredients into before starting work.

The other piece I chose was the Grey Storage Basket which is hung on the wall and contains my scrolls and paperwork from Witches Casket. This would be ideal for any home to store letters or post, even homework etc now that kids are working from home. This is super sturdy and has a little label slot so it can be personalised. This matches all of the grey metal home accessories available on the Dibor website.

Items can be purchased from the online store at Dibor
The wire trug is £18, the wall hanging basket £16 and available in a variety of colours.
