We were recently asked if we would like to review the Horse Club Rider Cafe which is part of the Schleich Horse Club series. We reviewed the horses and riders a little while ago. The girls adore these and have played with them regularly so were excited at having a new addition to their collection.
Priced at £44.99 the Cups & Saddles is a popular rider meeting point in Hazelwood. All of the pieces come individually bagged which makes it so much easier for little hands when putting it all together.
Evie built it all, I had to clip a couple of pieces into place as she was worried they would break if pushed too hard. No worries on that score as it is that well made it has withstood a whole host of rough play with Amelia.
Tom runs the cafe and has a horse named Pino, who works alongside him performing little tricks for treats of apples.
The attention to detail is second to none, with everything from potted flowers for the tables outside to individual slices of cake for the girls. Little beakers and bottles of juice, notice boards plus apples and rosettes for Pino all add to the overall play-ability of this piece.
The four girls leave secret news here or enjoy a large piece of Carolin Kramer’s famous apple pie, which she regularly bakes for the café. At the weekend, Tom helps behind the counter and mixes delicious smoothies for guests.
Because of the size of some of the pieces this is aimed at children ages + and it is clear to see why when you take in the tiny details. The amount of pieces included in this play set make it great value for money and we would most definitely purchase more sets in the future so we could make a whole farmyard, village setting.
We were kindly sent this set for the purpose of this review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
