Im so looking forward to this one, who doesnt love sweets!! 🙂 This is the first of our sweet selection, in a few weeks we will be making less chocolate based ones but for now with Mothers Day and Easter around the corner i thought chocolate was a good start point 🙂
There are 3 seperate sweets so 3 little shopping lists. I would have lumped it all together but at least this way you know what is needed for what and make sure you dont forget the little SWEET PETIT FOUR CASES!! You can get these at the supermarkets or the likes of Julian Graves etc.
Shopping List for Week 9! 1.
3 1/2 oz Plain Chocolate 20 Glace Cherries 20 Hazelnuts 5 fl oz Double Cream 2 tbsp Icing Sugar 4 tbsp Liqueur (your favourite!) 1 3/4 oz Plain chocolate and chocolate shavings to decorate
6 oz Plain Chocolate 2 tbsp Amaretto 1 1/2 oz Butter 4 tbsp Icing Sugar 1 3/4 oz Ground Almonds 1 3/4 oz grated Plain Chocolate to decorate
Sunflower Oil for greasing 12 oz Plain Chocolate 3 1/2 oz Brazil nuts 6 oz White Chocolate 6 oz Fudge
Supplies needed for the packaging…
Cellophane wrapping or decorative food bags so that your sweets dont touch the patterned papers. 2 sheets of 12×12 co ordinating patterned paper Border punch Ribbons Tag punch (optional as can be hand cut) Alphabet stamps/Teeny Alphabet letter stickers/ Sentiment stamp…. Embellishments/stickers/decorative gems etc…. Trimmer Scissors Double sided sticky tape and Double sided sticky pads.
Remember to tune in on Wednesday for the step by step and i will post the packaging tutorial on Thursday…..give your sweets a chance to set and hopefully there will still be some to package up! 😉
