Being part of the Baker Ross craft club means we received well timed craft items to make with the kids….OK who am I kidding, I love it when the box comes through and tend to open it before the kids come in and when I saw dot art this time I have to admit I sat for an hour or so while Amelia had her nap and got my spot art on!!
When Evie came in from school I got told off of course but she soon brightened up when she saw what we would be making. First up were the dot art … still plenty left for her to complete and I love the fact there is no mess with these, you simply peel and stick the dots!
Plus the concentration of having to get the dots exactly on point means that it keeps the little ones quiet for at least half an hour or so!
Next up came the pom pom spiders, pumpkin and bat – we must have wound ours too tight though as we ran out of wool from the little kit so we have a multi coloured bat – much to Amelias amusement!
The girls loved making the pom poms and I can see we will have a few more of these little monsters around the house before Halloween is here!
The little Day of the Dead gift bags are too cute and Evie loved sitting colouring them in with the promise of each one she finished we would fill with goodies! Needless to say these bags have now been hidden away ready for our Halloween party before all the sweets are eaten ahead of time!
There are so many fabulous Halloween craft goodies on the Baker Ross website – pop over and take a look!
XOXO
