Amelia is a typical kid whereas she wants to play games on her tablet and insists on having the monotonous music playing all the time, the beeps and jump noises drive me insane especially when I am trying to work.
Normal headphones are always too big for her head so they slip either back and fall off her head or she is constantly pushing them out of her eyes. Ear buds are no good either as her ears are so small they just won’t stay in and we are forever putting them back in again!
Snuggly Rascals have been the answer to our problems. Hailed as the perfect travel accessory we have found they are ideal for use at home all of the time too. They are available in lots of different designs from pig, duck and penguin to monster and aeroplane. One size fits all and it is a headband that fastens around the head and ears literally locking the noise in place!
They are machine washable which is great as Amelia always has sticky hands and doesn’t seem to realise when she is grabbing things so when she takes these off she usually end up covered in chocolate etc, machine washable saves the hassle of wipes!
Snuggly Rascals were featured on ITVs This Morning in the ultimate childrens gift guide. I know many parents have issues with the volume of some headsets and it is reassuring to know that the headbands are volume limited to protect hearing.
Not only has this saved my eardrums from the monotony of games but they also donate 10% of their profits each month to a chosen charity so are giving back to the community too – this month they are working with Kicks Count, a fabulous charity about understanding your babies movements before they are born and about trusting your instincts.
Retailing at £14.99 these are well worth it as we have spent countless amounts on headphones that end up broken or damaged due to slipping off her head and being thrown across the room (oh shes a true little redhead!) These are unbreakable!!
