If there were a self help group for candle lovers I swear I could be chairperson! Maybe I should start one? I know quite a few people who would be there beside me so at least I know I wouldn’t be alone!
A well known name in the candle world is Price’s and with almost 200 years experience under their belt they are certainly standing the test of time. Price’s have a long and close association with the Royal Family. The wedding of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert coincided with the launch of their new composite candle. Today Price’s hold a Royal Warrant for Her Majesty The Queen. This means that they supply candles for many Royal State occasions.
Price’s new fragrance range of 30 scents combines stunning fragrances and beautiful graphic designs. I chose the Sweet Pear scent to review and for the purpose of the giveaway as it is a delicious fruity scent that will take us through these cold couple of months into spring. It has a beautiful hue to it with a spring green and fresh pear scent.
I love having quiet time, alone. To either read a book or sit in the bath contemplating lists (I am always making lists!). Fresh flowers or plants around me and the light and scent of a candle, there is something so relaxing about the combo of a flickering flame and intense quietness. Not that the quiet happens often, but when it does it always involves a candle!
I am delighted to be able to offer one of you the chance to win your own Sweet Pear jar candle. RRP: £14.99

Nice walk
Relaxing, such a wonderful word, and such a personal preference. Sometimes I just like to sit quietly with my thoughts, and the dogs at my feet, or with a book and a pot of coffee. Othertimes, I enjoy a leisurely walk in the woodland or country lanes, and catching up with friends over coffee or a glass of wine is another of my favourite ways to relax.

long walks in the countryside
I like to walk the dogs or read in the bath
curled up under a blanket with a good book and a mug of tea
I enjoy sewing, especially things for the home. I am currently re-upholstering a G-Plan chair that I got on Freecycle. It was covered in the most hideous sludgy-browny-green textured fabric, which I have removed. I am going to cover it in a nice smart navy twill once I have sanded and re-varnished the frame.
I like to read or draw to relax
Walking or playing with my dog.
