You know when you get that feeling that maybe this isn’t your forever home, and that the time might be right to just move on. Yes it means starting over again but I really don’t think once you get that feeling it is not something you can change or go back on. Hopefully this might be our last move and it could be our forever home!
Thanks to neighbours from hell I have decided the time has come to move from what was a quiet little street and pack up our belongs to start again by moving house. Is it too much to ask for people to have some consideration for people around them? I love to look after my home and garden but when you are next to people who treat their garden like a garage and dumping ground it really does bring you down.
The reason we moved to where we are now is that it isn’t too far from my mum, and after splitting with my husband I really needed family around me. I think we would probably try to stick to a similar area to be honest or maybe even closer to my eldest son who is moving over this way too. That prospect makes me happy as I would get to see them so much more, they currently live almost an hour away so to be on the doorstep would be perfect. Not sure if they would see it the same though!
We have lived here for only 2 years and so far I have decorated at least 4 times, its something I enjoy doing so that aspect of moving and starting again fills me with joy much more than the actually shifting items from house to house! I have just enough ‘stuff’ to fill this house so anything bigger is giving me opportunities to get some of the things I have on my wishlist – I really don’t think we could size down any though as this is a pretty small three bed terrace we are currently in.
As I don’t drive though this brings with it new issues, in the past we have always had a car to ferry items back and forth but now as a single parent it comes down to just me. This is where I am going to have to rely on removal companies to help me out, not just sourcing someone who can do it all in one go and locally, but based on removal costs etc too.
I have already been looking at houses so I hope by the summer we will be moved and in our new home, I just hope the girls settle there as easy as they did here. Fingers crossed!

We are thinking about moving too because of the area we live, idiot neighbours and just outgrowing this house.
I have been looking at removal companies but have found nothing in our price range yet. Ugh! Good luck with the move x
