You may recall a little while ago the girls did a review of the My Fairy Garden – LilyPad Garden, we have just replanted it with some seeds to see how well the girls can make their own flowers grow this year! I was hoping for strawberries or tomatoes but the girls wanted ‘pink flowers’ so we are going that route instead! We will share pics once in full bloom!
We were kindly sent the My Fairy Garden – Watering Can to try out too and the girls are in their element to have a new addition to their Fairy Kingdom! This has come in so helpful for getting the garden ready for spring this week. I know it seems a million miles away in this bitter cold wind but it will be here before we know it and prep work has to be done!
I have to admit I am not green fingered at all so the thought of keeping plants alive scares the life out of me, thankfully the girls took over the watering of my planters this week and they have been doing a great job!
The watering can is very sturdy but light weight (obviously until you put the water in!) and it comes with teeny little tools which are the perfect size for the Lily Pad Garden too!
The flower spout has a removable yellow inner which makes for easy cleaning and the fairy swings high above the can while watering. Don’t worry she has a magnet bottom so sits firmly until removed and won’t fall off! She does also have a little hidey hole in the base which is handy when it rains – fairies don’t like rain, so i was told by my 6 year old who knows all about fairies!
Overall the girls love the watering can, it is a decent size, not too big to handle when filled with water yet big enough to get a good soaking and very well thought out with the tools being a great size for little hands and of course the welcome addition of the fairy home.
