Everyone knows I have a creative streak and boy do the girls take after me, pen doesn’t just belong on paper….its on the walls, toys, legs…yes, even body parts, nothing is safe! When Mindfun Tees got in touch for us to try a new fun concept we jumped at the chance!
I can remember one of the kids having a teddy bear and washable pens that you could use to colour him in and pop him in the washing machine to start all over again. This is the same kind of concept except after ironing, your wonderfully colourful t-shirt can be washed at up to 60 degrees with no fading or bleeding!
The blank t-shirt, which has a detailed outline of your chosen design, is packaged up with colouring pens, a backing board (which stops the pens bleeding through to the back of the t-shirt) and full instruction sheet – everything you need to get started.
Pop the backing board behind the pattern and pull the t-shirt tight to prevent accidents with the pens, try to alternate blocks so that the colours don’t run or bleed together. I found this whole process very therapeutic and relaxing, having to spend the time creating such a delicate collage of colours and making sure I didn’t have the same two colours together, thus wrecking all my hard work, and I most definitely got a little panic filled about the symmetry of some of the patterns! lol
The t-shirt I was sent was the Ladies XL which I would say is a 14/16 at a push – I had to pull the t-shirt tight to see the pattern as it doesn’t sit very well over those who are rather well endowed! lol Put it this way, until I lose a stone from each boob Evie is wearing it as a night shirt! 😉
Great concept and amazing selection of patterns – well worth checking them out to keep the kids busy over the holidays or as a relaxing way to have a one of a kind t-shirt!
I was sent the product to try out the concept of MindFun tees, all views and opinions are my own.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
