With half term upon us we are spending a lot of time outdoors but as usual the British weather has a way of mucking up the best of plans and this is where us parents have to have supplies on hand to keep the kids occupied!
Our girls love making things and when they were introduced to not only a jewellery making kit but a mermaid jewellery making kit – well you can imagine the excitement! This fun little kit from Interplay UK contains enough to make a whole jewellery box full of treasures!
Included in the kit:
75 Bicone beads in pale blue, green and purple
45 Faceted beads in pink, blue and turquoise
125 Round beads in silver, fuchsia, purple and coral
20 Pearl beads in pale gold and cream
10 Assorted shell and starfish beads
5 Gold colour metal charms
5 Silver colour metal charms
10 Key rings (to attach to charms)
5 Clasps
10 Clasp beads
4m Stretch cord
Colour instruction booklet
Aimed at children age 4+ I feel this is suitable due to the dexterity needed for threading the beads. The full colour booklet was well laid out and shows via images exactly how to fasten on the beads and charms so even if the children aren’t at suitable reading level they can follow the image instructions.
All of the charms are very well made and I was extremely happy with the whole quality of the kit, even though it is aimed at children the contents look as though they would be used on any store bought bracelet or necklace which makes it a pleasure to use!
This set is great to help children develop their hand and eye co ordination, the girls loved making their own jewellery and although there are patterns to follow Evie chose random blues and loves her sea necklace! Great value for money and a lovely afternoon of play for both mummy and daughters!
RRP £9.99 and available from all good toy stockists

We were sent the kit to review, all views and opinions are our own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
