Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
This week has been such a fun one and we have never stopped laughing! Amelia is turning into a proper little girl and becoming more settled when we go out to eat etc. She is learning that she needs to sit still and be respectful to others around us, this is quite a big step for a 2 year old but shes starting to grasp it.
We headed out to Pret in Durham the other day (OMGoodness, they do the most delicious Hoisin Duck wrap) with mum and she was as good as gold, sat and ate her sandwich and had conversations with mum about who was going home.
Mum was saying ‘nana go home’ and Amelia kept saying ‘meme’ and ‘mam’ – the whole interaction was so cute to watch!
One of Amelias favourite times of the day is bath time, we have started to put in just enough water and bubbles for her to have a decent wash and play otherwise its like a tsunami hits the bathroom! The look of pure joy on her face here just shows how much she loves it!
Aw, I love this photo in the bath! What a cutie x
I love that bath photo – she just looks so happy! x
