Christmas lists and toy catalogues! Seriously when it hits October and the shop catalogues are released is there really anything else to read for the next 12 weeks?! It can’t just be my house! We also had harvest festival at nursery too so we sat and read the Friendly Scarecrow book which is beautifully illustrated and embossed, i think we might need to make this an Amazon purchase!
I have finally managed to catch up on Walking Dead, I gave up around season 5 years ago but with a thing for Negan (sorry not sorry) I wanted to be up to date completely. Loved it more this time round too watching it all in one go so think i might do a re-watch of Greys too – I gave up on that around season 3 I think and then dipped in and out.
This week we seem to have turned a corner with hair brushing! We have had no tantrums or screams of blue murder and the girls have actually sat while I plait their hair on a morning for school (this is unheard of as its usually a quick pony tail and out of the door!)
I am back on Slimming World so have been back to making ‘proper’ teas for myself instead of just snacking. I had a lovely sweet chilli and sun dried tomato salad yesterday and it really did fill me up so no snacking or wine at bedtime either!
Amelia is obsessed with her Peppa Pig cardigan at the minute and i had to remove it from her last night after she fell asleep as she refused to get changed as it meant taking it off!
