Wohoo, two week in a row of posting my #littleloves on time! I have been busy this week with more decorating, my first night out with my sister since she moved back home and I moved closer plus park time with the girls and exploring local places! It has now been a month since we separated and I feel like I have turned a corner this past week, I have a little spring back in my step and I am looking forward to the future.
I have started to reread The Secret and New Earth, these are my two staple books that I always go to when I need to reassess things. These two godsends help to reset my mind and soul, they give me the oomph I need to be positive when times are tough and help to confirm that my life is in my hands. Big Magic and White Hot Truth are next on the list.
Life is what I make it and there is a higher power of affirmation and an overwhelming sense of what you put out is what you receive.
RuPauls Drag Race – I have heard about this show so many times but for some reason never watched it. I fell in love with RuPaul when she did her duet with Elton John back in the year dot (I’m showing my age here), the flawless skin, the whole transformation completely had me hooked and she has never changed.
We started out watching season 2 on Netflix (season 1 isn’t there) and were hooked from the start, I am writing this while watching the final episode of season 7. The only thing I dislike is the fact all these men can do flawless makeup and look more like women than I do! Gawjuss dahlink!
Whilst I have been decorating we have been listening to a few of the CDs that I found in the move. Lady Antebellum, Faith Hill, Celine Dion … you get the idea, I have been blasting out strong powerful women and singing along to every word!
HAPPY!
That’s what has been made this week, the girls have been made so happy and momma is finally happy too! This week has been all about the girls and their toy reviews, we have made up the Zhu Zhu pet run, played with a Cry Baby, Dobble and Igloo Mania. Amelia is reviewing a scooter and balance bike and they are both so happy and settled right now it is worth what we have been through.
I can’t believe we are heading towards the last week of the holidays, in some ways it has gone by way too quickly and in others it has dragged. I think we are all looking forward to getting some routine back into our lives, it will be a new one and we are all eager to find out how it is going to work. We have visited Evies school and she is really excited to start, not so sure about Amelia and nursery though, this could prove a challenge!
XOXO
Debbie
I keep meaning to pick up Big Magic – I’ll have to see if my library has it next time I’m in there. Totally understand you re: routine and structure of returning to school; I think we’re in need of it too! Happy weekend, and here’s to more happiness!!
I hope you enjoy the last week of the holidays and keep listening to those strong women! #LittleLoves x
Enjoy the last little bit of the holidays lovely! You’ve got some great books there, I really must read Big Magic xx
