Things are finally starting to get back to normal round here and I am up and about a lot more, I still have some discomfort where the stitches were but I assume that is just internal bruising and will die down soon. Mum stayed last weekend which was a huge help as I felt some normality with getting back to decorating and finally made a start on some renovation pieces I have been storing in the garage!
I made the conscious effort to start and read more this past week! I really do love it when I get absorbed into a book and lost within the pages, there is something special about getting to the end of a story and wanting to know more, being totally caught up with the lives of others.
A whole season of Riverdale – loved it, its a little bit ‘teen drama’ but that is what I am about at times! lol I am up to season 3 of Breaking Bad – jury is still out on that one! All caught up with Pretty Little Liars…not sure if I am now just watching this because its the last as it just seems to be going through the motions…
We made the living room, dining room and kitchen pretty does that count?! See this post for how I created our calm and greyscale living area, honestly I love it so much and surprisingly enough for the past week it has been really neat and tidy. Moving my office into the conservatory has really helped with this as all of my stuff isn’t all over the table etc – who said creativity was tidy?!
Elasticated waist pants and PJ bottoms! The swelling has gone down and I am finally able to wear my jeans again but only this past couple of days! Jeez I need to forget how comfy slobbing around in PJ bottoms is otherwise I may never leave the house again! On a side note the table I dropped on my knee the other day left a whopping bruise which peeks perfectly through the rip in my jeans! lol
We heard this past fortnight that Amelia has her place at nursery so arrangements have been made for the teachers to come out and get to know her in her own setting before plunging her into the big wide world that is the start of school life! *sob*
With Amelias 3rd birthday coming up next week preparations are under way for that, we are just planning on having a quiet family tea with her brothers and sister so nothing too special but there will no doubt be the usual balloon’fest and cupcake surprise! The garden is finally taking shape with the help of her birthday present too but I’m not sure how long we can keep it under wraps! lol
XOXO

I know just what you mean with PLL, I’m only watching it for the closure that will hopefully come soon!
Good luck with the continued renovations and with the garden xx
I love Breaking Bad. It started off slow but it got there. Seen all the seasons.
I’ve never really got into Breaking Bad. I love the grey style for your project, I’ve just redecorated the bedroom in grey tones.
