Its always a struggle to get fruit into kids unless its covered in chocolate or sugar! Today however I spotted the little grab bags of fruit from Tesco, 4 for £1.50 and instead of just handing them over we decided to make something a little more fun.
I already had these fab little appetiser picks in ‘just incase’ (as you do!) and they are so much smaller and manageable for children than the long BBQ skewers normally used.
I diced all of the fruit up into bite size pieces and popped them onto the skewers alternating colours between mango, strawberries, pineapple, grapes and watermelon. A little ramekin of extra thick cream was on hand too but to be honest the kids were too busy with their fruit they didn’t even bother with the cream!
A quick, cheap and easy dessert!
I may try this in the summer for an out doors BBQ and a chocolate fondue sounds very appealing for once the little ones are in bed! Who am I kidding, they will smell the chocolate and be there in a flash!
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
