Without a doubt gin is the drink of the moment and with Mother’s Day on the horizon I thought it would be nice to put together a guide for all of those who wish to treat their mums (or drop hints to the other half!) to some Gin related gifts!
Add in to the fact that Mother’s Day falls on the same day the clocks go back so we are losing an hour sleep, who thought that one through!? Isn’t that reason enough to deserve a treat.
Wall space should be covered in things that you love or statement pieces and I am all for personalising prints. How fabulous is this print from Getting Personal that can be emblazoned with the family name and EST date. This Home Runs On Love, Laughter & Gin which is rather apt since that is basically what my home runs on! RRP: £16.99 from Getting Personal
These Botonist gin glasses from Alliance Online are something a little different as they are filled with bubbles! They make great sparkling drink vessels as well as looking pretty on display, the bubbles in the bottom of each glass act to create even more bubbles in the tonic water/champagne etc. This heightens the flavour and aroma. RRP: £24.75 for 6
How about a bottle of gin that is helping the environment at the same time. Cooper King Dry Gin is completely powered by green energy and, for every bottle sold, a square metre of woodland is planted through the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust partnership. RRP: £41.95 from PrezzyBox
A great little book from Geraldine Coates to help with what you need for gin cocktails. It tells you which are the most popular gins and gives all of the information you would ever need when it comes to partaking in your favourite tipple! A great addition to any gin lovers arsenal! RRP: £11.99 from Amazon
I have spoken in the past about how much I love personalised items, it really makes you realise the person giving you the gift has thought about what you would like and taken the time to have it made just for you. You can’t drink gin without the right glass and this Personalised Cut Glass Goblet from Prezzybox is absolutely stunning and shows without doubt who is drinking tonight! RRP: £25.99
I adore small batch gins and Norfolk Gin is a fine example of a great bathtub gin. Created by Jonathan and his wife from their home studio this gin is packaged in the increasingly familiar Wade ceramic bottles and each carry a unique batch and bottle number. There are only 24 bottles in a batch. Hand sealed and available in mini decanters for £19.50 up to 70cl bottles for £46.50 from Norfolk Deli
Palmers Gin reaches all the way back to 1805 so as far as I believe one of the oldest gin producers in the UK. I am a sucker for packaging and bottles and this super cute 20ml bottle is a great addition to any gin collection. RRP: £15.00 from Palmers
From past gift guides you will know I have a huge love of Portmeirion makes and this set of 2 Auris Gin Glasses are no exception. The pure weight and design are beyond compare. They arrived in a silk lined box for storage which makes them a great gift idea for not only Mother’s Day but any special occasion. RRP: £56.50
Mrs Cuthbert’s is a new range of British Gin Liqueurs, inspired by one of the founder’s late Auntie Dorothy ~ a.k.a. Mrs Cuthbert. Born and bred in Yorkshire, Dorothy Cuthbert was a frugal home-baker, typical of the 1940’s and 1950’s era. Mrs Cuthbert was also a big fan of gin and would often garnish her G&T’s with a cake or pudding ingredient, creating her very own bespoke cocktails. RRP: £12.95 at Master Of Malt
I hope that has given a little inspiration for the gin lover in your life, I know I would be happy to receive any of these!
XOXO

I do love a good shot of gin and tonic over the weekend but not tried these before, though my mum is not for gin, I know I would love a couple bottles
Ooh I love this! I am all about the gin and these look sooo good!

Well, it would be rude of me not to save the world and have some gin. Love the idea that my Friday night gin could be saving the planet 😀
