Having been given the all clear from the doctor to start diet and exercise after my operation I have joined Slimming World and also taken to doing Yoga and something I love to do, running!
When hubby is at work and the kids are at school I can still head out with Amelia in tow thanks to the Thule Glide.
This high performance running buggy has a lightweight aerodynamic design, allowing me to run on any terrain. The ergonomic handlebar has a range of heights which is perfect for me since I am teeny and can angle the handle downward to a more comfortable position. The addition of the brake adds peace of mind as I am always worried about tripping and letting go of the handle – this way I run and keep grip of the brake so a simple squeeze stops it in its tracks!
The suspension is amazing, Amelia does nothing but giggle as I’m running and we have had so many comments about how comfortable she looks! It is good to know that the padded seat with vented top reclines to a near flat position for on-the-go naps too which I am sure will happen as I get more accustomed to longer runs.
The multi-position canopy gives added protection and has a view-in roof port which makes it easy for me to check on Amelia without disturbing her too – sometimes when I stop to check her out she wants to get out and walk, this way I can make sure she is ok without stopping!
When needing to transport it to and from the park or woodland we are lucky that we have a Land Rover and lots of space so if its is only the girls coming with us we can fit the Thule in without having to even collapse. However on the occasion all of the kids are coming with us and we need additional space it is good to know that the wheels are easily removed and the whole buggy collapses with a simple push and twist.
The underneath basket storage may look small but it is deceptive and held both of our jackets, my bag, big camera and changing bag for Amelia too. The only downside to the buggy as a whole is the fact it is so long which means turning in small spaces is an issue, again this is not really a huge problem because when I am out running there is nothing but open space! This just isn’t the kind of buggy to take to the shops!
The weight capacity of the Thule Glide is 34kg which means that we will have a little while before Amelia is too big for it, just as well as she is loving being outdoors and taking part in mummys get fit regime!

We were kindly sent the Thule Glide for the purposes of this review. All views and opinions are my own and genuine.
Wow what a great looking pram. I need to get out and about more and do some exercise so will definitely check these out.
That looks like a sleek machine. I’m very fond of my OutnAbout but this looks excellent.
That looks a great running buggy. And seems to collapse down quite small. It’s great to hear your daughter loves being in it too!
This looks like a great buggy, nice and light to push. Sadly mine have grown out of them now, I do miss pushing one around
I’ve always been really interested in running pushchairs, such an interesting concept and a perfect way to get back in shape after having a baby!
