Being a full time blogger means that there are some thing I just could not do my job without. Alongside the endless cups of coffee, a good supply of pens and paper to scribble on (I am a doodler!), my laptop and phone the other essentials in my view are the internet and decent broadband!
“To be successful in the world of eCommerce, you need to learn to personalize your marketing and content in order to really make a statement.” – says Paul from websitepromoter.co.uk
Waking up early hours of the morning and being able to click onto my phone and see things in a flash are something I take for granted now. A good broadband connection is something we all need but seldom think about when we log online, check our phones, write blog posts and generally check out the internet. These days life is spent online doing everything from meal planning to banking, holiday planning to food shopping – there really is little need to leave your home!
Alongside work the kids love to play online games with their friends so it is great to know that they don’t have that annoying dial up that we had as teenagers – i bet you can still hear it ringing in your ears if you try hard enough! lol
Thankfully since we moved we have had a great experience with our broadband connection via www.talktalkbusiness.co.uk. I love that no matter what time it is in the day it is I can log online and complete my workload!
I spoke with a few other bloggers to see how they feel about how a decent broadband connection can affect your life and sanity!
A good broadband connection is life for me. I use it for everything – work, play, the kids. To download music, films, games. I would prioritise a good broadband connection over almost anything else. I get serious rage when it’s too slow. – Nyomi. Nomipalony
The internet is used in so many different ways in my home. From Spotify and Netflix to researching days out and opening times. Then as a connection to social media and accessing my blog. We’d be lost without it. – Sarah. A Few Favourite Things
I pretty much live on the internet. I run my business, my husbands business and my blog on the web. Without a good connection my work day becomes stressful and unproductive. I think a good broadband service is one of the most important services we have. – Laura. Mum On A Mission
I upload videos to YouTube so a good connection is everything or it would takes hours to upload one video. – Kirsty. Kirsty Dee
We don’t have a TV aerial port in our bedroom so the only way to watch TV in bed (which is my treat at the end of a long working day) is to stream it via a NowTV box using the internet. I much prefer watching TV that way so I avoid all the adverts! – Nicola. Mummy To Dex
I can’t live without wifi! As a travel blogger I NEED it … so wherever I go I’m always on the look out for a hotspot to stop and check mail, upload images etc. I don’t tend to blog ‘on the road’ very often, but I can’t be without wifi! – Tracey. Pack The PJs
Blogging is a full time job for me and it boils down to this – if I didn’t have a decent broadband connection, I’d struggle to meet deadlines/manage social media clients and would probably lose money in the long run. – Samantha. North East Family Fun
As well as blogging I freelance in PR & Marketing from home so without a good Internet connection I’d have no business at all. – Debbie. My Boys Club
Having a good connection is super important to me, I use the internet a lot daily. Without it I wouldn’t be able to write my blogs, Stay in contact with friends, My children need a internet connection for most of their games, I wouldn’t be able to record things on my sky box! Internet runs some many things now a day! – Zoe. With Love Zoe

I think we all take Internet for granted now. I know my kids can’t believe we didn’t have internet when I was their age

I love how everyone is concerned about their wifi and broadband connection haha! I had a week without internet when I moved and it was awful!
I really need to get organised, I’d love a desk but our house is far too small for me to have an area of my own just yet!! Is the dream though!
