I know I’m a little late but I wanted to share what we did on Easter Sunday…
The weather was awful and we didn’t attend the carboot sale we were going to as we knew it would be a washout so stayed home instead, that’s when a call from my eldest came saying they were hoping to visit! YAYY!!
This would mean I would have all my babies and future grand baby here for our first Easter Sunday together in our new home!
We picked them up around tea time and they said they could stay the night with it being bank holiday they were both off work and no rush to get home! Double YAYY!
After a delicious full dinner of roast beef, veggies, roast potatoes and red wine we sat down to craft! Other crafty families will get how special this time is, the fun of everyone sitting and standing around a table joining in making something that you just know will be pulled out each year fills my heart with love, joy and everything else possible!
The little ones even joined in with the kiddie glue and napkins helping to make decoupage eggs and generally getting icky and messy! Lots of pretty eggs were made and will be on display next year I’m sure…which is when we will have another little one to help too! #grandchild
XOXO
