We were kindly gifted a craft pack from the lovely people at Swizzels which contained everything we would need to create our own Christmas Eve plate.
Amelia dictated how she would like the plate to look and I was only allowed to write the words of welcome, Dear Santa and With Love Evie & Amelia. Apparently my drawing skills need brushing up on as she did ask why I had drawn a fish and would reindeers actually eat fish… I did point out that it was a carrot or at least suppose to be one!
Amelias favourite colour is blue so you can bet she went to down with it! The pens were paint markers and worked well on the plate, hopefully they don’t wash off but if they do it means we get to do it all over again next year!
We know that Santa loves Swizzels as much as we do so there had to be space on the plate for a one of his favourite lollies – the Drumstick! I am sure he will appreciate it more than a mince pie by the time he gets to our house!
We have a few traditions we do at Christmas time and now we can add creating our Christmas Eve plate to that one too. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time together as a family making a new tradition thanks to Swizzels.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
