It took me a long time to realise that this is my home and I can decorate it how I want. I don’t have to do it in the latest styles. I was never going to follow the grey muted trend that is splashed all over twitter.
My love of all things horror and spiritual have meant that I have transformed my bedroom. One section is dedicate to my alter, for my witch rituals and work. The rest is horror based. Shelves which house my horror movie based Pop Vinyls and prints.
The only place in my room I had any real space was the wall behind my bed. I love feature walls so the thought of turning it into a shrine for all my favourite movies.
Working with Posterlounge has given me the opportunity to order not only the images I love but the frames too.
I popped Horror into the search engine and it brought up hundreds of options. One of my go to movies is Silence of the Lambs so I chose that as my main focal point and the largest image. Ghost Face from Scream, Pennywise and Wednesday Adams were all chosen in A4 size. The smallest picture was the witch and Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. Not your stereotypical horror movie but a classic scary movie all the same.
The order process couldn’t have been easier. You simply click on the dropdown box to choose between everything from sticker to wood print.
The options then open up to choose which size image you require. Everything is there in one place and you aren’t redirected through different pages for each choice. The final button is the add to cart.
The shopping cart was simple to check out and postage was calculated based on order value and weight, from £2.95.
Posterlounge ship across Europe and offer different types of material such as Posters, Canvas prints, Acrylic prints, etc. I was delighted to see that they offer such a wide range of mediums as I am often looking for different styles of print. Each image is printed on demand and framed by hand too so you know everything is going to arrive with you ready to hang.
When the parcel arrived it was securely parcelled with bubble wrap and in a thick brown box. I was very impressed overall with the whole process from start to finish and would highly recommend.
