Every year we create our Christmas gift guides in the hope of giving inspiration to others out there who are struggling with what to buy little ones.
I have asked the girls time and time again what they want this year and I am still getting silence, a resounding lack of info with regards to what they would like. It is a struggle when kids are getting things all year round now, this is the issue.
When I was little we got gifts for birthdays, an egg for Easter and presents we saw throughout the year for Christmas. Now we are a society that buys things when we see them which makes it difficult when you come to celebrations!

We go through so many pens, pencils, crayons and craft goodies. Every celebration we tend to buy more so that we always have some on hand, there’s nothing worse than a rainy day and no colouring in to do! One of our favourite gifts each year are the Playmobil sets, the girls have so many now and still play with them on a daily basis. We love practical gifts and the girls generally get clothing all year round but i love to pick up bits and pieces that I know will last. These gorgeous moccasins from Glencroft remind of slippers I use to own when I was little. Made using genuine lambswool lined calfskin. Personalised items are always high up on my list. Over the years with 6 children to buy for it is just easier if you can get things with their names on, less fighting in the long run!
