If there’s one thing I love about Christmas dinner (ok, except the sprouts – sorry but they are a must!) is dessert! The rest of the year I am not really a sweet lover and I would rather skip dessert in favour of coffee and cheese but come Christmas time I am looking forward to my Christmas pudding and whipped cream after dinner on Christmas day.
It’s something I only eat once a year so when I do I need to know it’s going to be good, heck not just good it needs to be perfect!
Blackberry Cottage is set in the heart of the Berkshire countryside and was founded by sports massage practitioner Kate Saunders who created a way to get vegetables and nutrients into delicious cakes and treats. Everyone knows that 5 a day are good for us so what better way than to indulge in something we delight in eating too – brownies, cakes and puddings!
I am lucky enough to be able to offer my readers an exclusive 10% discount and free postage code which is valid until the end of the year. Simply use the promotional code CHH17 at checkout.
There is also the chance to win a 900g Rum Cask Cider Christmas pudding which serves 8 by entering the competition via the Gleam widget below.
Delicious moist round Christmas pudding full of rum cask cider soaked fruit, handmade in small batches. The cider we use is produced by a local cider maker, Tutts Clump Cider, who use a variety of eating, cooking and crab apples mainly from within West Berkshire, which has been fermented and matured in oak rum barrels. The pudding is then wrapped in muslin and finished with a pretty ribbon.
I am lucky enough to have one of these myself for Christmas day and I really can’t wait for it to roll around!
I was sent one for the purpose of the giveaway, all views are my own and genuine.
