I know I am going to get some enemies here when I say we have never had a problem with the kids sleeping in! They don’t get up at silly o clock and never have, infact we have more of a problem of getting them out of bed than keeping them in there! *ducks for cover*
The only issue with nighttime at the moment is that we are trying to get Amelia to stay in her own bedroom instead of spending an hour in there on a night and feeling the need to jump back in with me and daddy!
I was hoping before it arrived for a little box of mini miracles with the BabyZoo Momo Sleeptrainer and although its not helping with Amelia… it is learning Evie a little independence when it comes to bedtime routine! Bonus!
The whole point of Momo is that you set a time that your little one is to wake and if his eyes are still asleep then its too early and they should stay in bed. Jungle sounds play when his eyes pop open and the alarm goes off (which the kids find hilarious and have taken to staying in bed even just to hear those sounds if up earlier!) *happy dance*
If you press the button on the top of the digital clock it sparks a little night light which is great as its not too bright and goes off by itself around 1 minute later. Evie knows just to keep pressing it until shes dozy then falls fast asleep.
We are still trying with Amelia but she hasn’t stayed in her bed for a full night yet so hasn’t benefited from being able to hear the alarm or see his eyes open/shut.
Time will tell!
XOXO
Debbie
