Turning 3 is a big deal!
You are leaving behind those terrible twos and embarking on a journey of self discovery, nursery and becoming a big girl!
I think this big event deserves to be recognised which is where Plum Play come in with their new collection for 2017, a fabulous range of messy play stations that are sure to thrill.
Natures little ambassadors can get messy in the garden with outdoor role play. The Discovery range by combines hands-on play and learning bringing school into the garden. Children can interact with nature all year round as they discover wildlife and engage in sensory and active play as the seasons change.
Little green fingers can cut and trim the buds and shrubs to create their very own mini eco centre. All Discovery toys have been made from FSC® sustainably sourced wood, include a bamboo wind chime, easy clean painting screen and mini growing station for beginner gardeners.
We set about building up the Discovery Woodland Treehouse, it says it should take on average 2 people 4 hours to build and both hubby and Scott worked solidly for 5 hours to get it built completely. This was of course hindered by the fact that Amelia wouldn’t leave them alone and insisted on climbing/trying/playing with each section that was built!
The Plum® Discovery Woodland Treehouse is for natures little ambassadors. As they climb and slide children will discover the environment and messy play. Think green and discover growing plants! Little ones can create their very own mini eco centre in the built-in potted garden. Watch them tend to the sprouting buds and water the flowers with the pail and pulling rope.
What we love about Plum products is the fact they are eco friendly and so easy to put together! It is like a Lego set for grown ups but with ethically sourced FSC certified timber. Both Stuart and Scott said everything was straight forward, no complicated instructions and everything fit together perfectly. Additional screws too just incase!
Amelia tested each section as it was built. The whole structure weighs an absolute ton so no chance of it blowing over in the wind or being taken from the garden which was an initial concern.
There are so many aspects to the Discovery Woodland Treehouse including bamboo windchimes for sensory play. An easy clean painting screen with paintbrush pens and mixing pots, a pale and pull system. Little ones can create their very own mini eco centre in the built-in potted garden. The tree house comes supplied with their own mini tools too.
The Plum® Woodland Treehouse combines play and learning all year round. Children can interact with nature as they discover wildlife hiding in the garden, engage in active play and they keep lookout as the seasons change. Discovery includes a Create and Paint, easy clean painting screen.
The paint screen is such a genius idea and I think is our favourite aspect of the Discovery Woodland Tree house. The girls have gone through all of their paints already. We love that it cleans off without any mess at all. Watching them play together is such a beautiful thing to witness. I only hope they have many more years of play together on this fabulous frame!
Take a look at this video to see the treehouse in action, there really is so much to see and do! This is going to grow with the girls and we have been making plans on what we can add to it, Amelia is really looking forward to growing her own strawberries this summer so I am hoping to make a little gardener out of her this year!
XOXO

Lol my kiddies are the same if they see anything exciting being set up they like to get under daddy’s feet and slow him down. The treehouse looks fantastic and loads of fun.
That looks amazing! Happy birthday Amelia.
I don’t think I’ll ever grow up enough not to immediately think ‘I want a go’ when I see a nice tree house! I love the extras like the paint screen too, really clever addition.
