On Saturday we spent the day trying to hunt down a Golden Lindt bunny at Alnwick Gardens. After spending the last week preparing for Easter we decided we should get out and where better than some beautiful surrounding hunting down chocolate! The deal was you pay the usual admission fee and you got to do a little treasure hunt which meant looking around the garden for clues and answering questions etc.  (I don’t want to give too much away as it is still running until mid April!) Wanting the kids to enjoy it all and actually take an interest in everything they saw we gave them their pencils and work sheets and set them about the gardens.  They had to work out how many water jets shot across the Grand Cascade and count how many water sculptures were in the Serpent Garden.  This was one of the kids favourites as most of the sculptures are interactive and you can either walk through them (Ethan got soaked), dip your fingers in to create different patterns (Ethan got soaked) or go inside and look through making everything distorted etc (…yep you guessed it!)    We visited the next section to work our way to … Continue reading Alnwick Garden Lindt Bunny Hunt!
